How do you handle operator obligations and safety responsibilities during times of energy cost pressure and inflation? What must you do, what can you leave? And above all: how can one become more efficient and save costs when it comes to essential safety measures?

We aim to address these questions at the Practical Forum on Safety Measures, a workshop format that we are organizing for the 5th time in collaboration with the Real Estate Consulting GmbH – a practical event designed for industry professionals.

Legal obligations that you must strictly comply with and that are part of your daily business arise from the Hazardous Substances Act and the Drinking Water Regulations. Both regulations have recently been revised, with the Drinking Water Regulations undergoing a complete restructuring.

As a practitioner from the housing industry, Reno Schütt, Managing Director of GEWO Nordhorn GmbH, delved into the requirements of the new Hazardous Substances Regulation, particularly regarding asbestos, more than a year ago. He is eager to share his insights and experiences in this field with his professional colleagues.

Since 2019, our board member Marcus Pikarek has been a permanent speaker for the BBA (Building and Real Estate Academy) on legal and technical issues related to the Drinking Water Regulations. In his capacity as the chairman of the “Water Analysis” working group of the Gas and Water Industry Association, he closely followed the development of the extensively revised new Drinking Water Regulations. He presents the relevant changes for the housing industry in a vivid and practical manner.

The free seminar is aimed at technical managers, safety officers, occupational health and safety specialists, and technical staff who are responsible for ensuring compliance with safety and operator obligations in their professional environment.
